        What is wrong with these people’s brains? Even if it’s just 1200 people giving like $100, they could make at least some kind of positive impact with local action instead of putting it into a government black hole.

      To be fair to the USA, Germany has been accepting donations for decades now, I believe about 1-5 million euros annually.

          Yes, bank transfers are the norm in Europe. Government bodies rarely even offer paypal.

        If they taxed the billionaires in the USA even half what they did 80 years ago (*percentage of income), this wouldn’t even be a whisper of a thing.
