If you’ve got screens, check that they’re in the correct position. I had a sliding screen patio door get knocked off the bottom track, and the gap was wide enough for wasps to get through
I’m surprised a screech owlet was easier to find than a barn owlet. Maybe Florida has less barn owl boxes.

No specific suggestions, but I came across this table while researching and it’s been a good comparison of eink devices.

Those are excellent cat pictures

If your uni has career fairs, attend them. Look for the booths without long lines that might be hiring for your major. They tend to ask about projects, but you can use class assignments or projects as examples. They’re looking for your understanding of the project and how well you can communicate that. Another trick is to use your “major GPA” (ommitting general education courses) on your resume if it makes the number higher.
I recommend trying to get as many internships as you can while in school, all at different places. It gets your foot in the door at more companies and gives you a better idea of what you like in a working environment.
Love the head tilts
I amost missed the pics since lemmy decided to not to notify me there was a response.
Big feisty sounds like a handful! I hope they all do well on release.
Cranky fat puff is an excellent owlet description
They were in the same tree, but it was a massive tree and it wasn’t possible to get both in one shot.
In this case, there were photographers with 2ft long lenses pointed at it as I walked up. The owls have nested in the same spot for multiple years, so it’s pretty well known.
They are. I can confirm, there’s only one owl in the bonus picture. I think the spot you’re referring to is some dead leaves.
Here’s hoping you get your chance!
Lint is adorable!
Aww, off to a good start!
The most suspicious fluff ball
While not in the same weight class, if you can find a lacy crochet or knit blanket made of cotton yarn, you can get breathability with weight.
I don’t have a good suggestion for holding the solder and iron in one hand, but if you search for “soldering helping hands” you’ll find a variety of tools for positioning the board you’re working on.
Animals do like figs. You want to pick them when they get soft at the top of the fruit just below the stem.
One thing to watch for is some varieties have an ‘eye’ at the base of the fruit (opposite side from the stem) that will open as they ripen. I’ve had bugs get in that way, so you may want to cut them in half before eating to check. The skin is edible and can be shades of green, yellow, or purple when ripe.
