12·17 days agoI’m not the person you asked, but I’ve been on my CPAP for a year now. Yes, it does what they say, but I hate it with a passion. She can sleep, but now I wake up 4 times a night feeling like the damn thing is suffocating me.
different personal experience here. CPAP works, I don’t snore, my wife is happier. A year in, I HATE it. no matter what mask I try, how I sleep, I fucking hate it. Now I’m miserable and waking up all night because I feel like the damn thing is smothering me. And she wonders why I’d rather sleep down stairs.
3·18 days agoThe love letter to dogfights thing doesn’t excuse complete stupidity. I’m not expecting Babylon 5 level of good space battles, but at the very least they could have treated it as a “escort the torpedo boats” fight and not a “bombing ground targets but in spaaaaaace”. Some one should have taken one look at the script/plan for that scene and said, “No, that’s stupid.”
72·1 month agowell, sort of. Trying to offset Republican gerrymandering with Democratic gerrymandering. whether the scales balance will be a good question in 6-12 months. Gotta love the two party system…
The only thing ‘special’ here is the timing. Usually both sides wait until after the census to put their thumbs on the scale. Now the more sane parts of the Republican party know that they’re in trouble if they don’t break the system further while they have a chance. If more people vote in freer, fairer elections, they’ll lose. Meanwhile The Democratic Do-nothings know if they don’t rally some sort of defense, they might not have a chance to come midterms.
