This just made me realize we kinda always did in a way. I remember having to go to the doctor for a physical before I could play sports. “Turn head and cough.”

To be clear, I’m not in favor of prohibiting trans kids from sports. Just musing that I did in fact have to have my genitals inspected to play sports in school.
