1·3 days agotechnically one doesn’t even need a turbine to make the power useful. you could just use it like a rocket engine to exhaust backwards, to propel yourself forward through recoil.

- thanks but mine is simpler as it doesn’t rely so much on moving parts. the aeolipile inherently needs to connect two parts that rotate against each other, while theoretically my engine can be operated without a turbine to create thrust directly through the recoil principle to drive a vehicle forward.
the project only has a reasonable chance to survive if it’s compatible with mastodon. i.e. read the location tag of users (or posts / comments) on mastodon and display their content in fedihood. otherwise there’s just not gonna be enough content to actually meaningfully build a network.
actually that looks kinda ok, i’ve seen worse. maybe a bit heavy on the animal-products side of things.
“buddhism” is just a term to describe any worldview that comes from south-east asia. there’s more variety within buddhism than within christianity, and there you can find a whole lot of disagreements and different ways of life already.

you fell for the “move to the countryside” incentive. they give you money to move in the middle of nowhere, then you pay for that circumstance for the rest of your life with poor transportation, no jobs, expensive maintenance etc.
also you went into farming while also having severe physical health issues?? really?
