I’m in n the 11% that doesn’t believe corruption is all that wide spread. But I do believe incompetence is.

Microsoft (and maybe all the AI companies) made at least few mistakes in the marketing of this technology. AI isn’t a replacement for human accountability. It still requires oversight and expertise. It is great for a first draft. It is terrible for a complete work product. Agents (with the right loops to verify accuracy) are reasonably complex - and most companies don’t have the people development infrastructure to train their teams with the right skills to build them. Honestly, AI is shining a light on how terribly businesses have been run over the last 30 years, and how lazy business leaders are.

The ability to not need sleep.

Plus it looks great.

I’m in a part of the country where I’m competing with global talent for a job. To be frank, I’m not that good - and neither are most people. It makes it incredibly difficult to get a job in the area. So, I’m not totally heartbroken about the fee. I’d like to see more companies invest in local talent.

It even got its first bear recently!

We visit Spirit Halloween at least once a week starting in August each year. My kids are obsessed.

I think if it is that terrible bright white kind of bulb, it will be ok. 😉

We should do this because it is progress (and also cruel not to do it). But in an ideal world, college and trade school should be free.
