Depends on whether they use floor or ceil. From observation, most systems round down.

This my moment. I have been waiting for this for so long.
Actually, a rating of 5 means all the reviews are 5 stars. Any other rating would drop it below 5.
I find it wondrous how oblivious you’re being to the fact that your words make you seem just as bad as the kind of extremism you’re describing.
Zeal needs no religion to breed extremist views, just the hubris of a self-righteous person who thinks they know enough to judge all. Then religion becomes a tool to justify whatever opinion they’re trying to impose and whatever acts they choose to commit. Violence included.
So I don’t think being a militant atheist gives you superpowers. Nearly been there, almost done that. Stopped and did a U turn at some point. Sought answers. Then found my peace and own dogma. I encourage you to try and do the same.
Scientific version of what I’m trying to say if you’re interested (contributions welcome if you’re a neuroscientist or have access to an LLM with access to journals).
Especially when it makes you shiver all the way up and down. 🐢

5·15 days agoYou would buy a smart watch or something and it would require running some weird Windows only app to set it up.
Unfortunately still the case for most BIOS updaters, RGB/cooling setups, and proprietary HID stuff. You need Windows for anything beyond the basics.
They just highjacked another metric

Reading this comment with the assumption my wife will find it some day: Right, she doesn’t give out my number instead of hers as a contact point every time she visits a shop that asks, and certainly not because she has it memorised and it’s too much of a bother to give out her own, not at all.
All the WhatsApp group invitations for clothing and grocery places that happen after she goes shopping are completely unrelated.

7·24 days agoI used to think it funny how Game Theory research has to go through a negative sum medium to become relevant, but now imagine how many papers don’t even get funded because Game Theory has terminology that directly collides with their keywords. I asked Kagi assistant and it gave me a list with an estimate of ~25-30 direct collisions, and ~10-15 fuzzy matches. That’s 35–45 collision terms total.
Disclaimer: not American and not a researcher, just interested in the dynamics happening here

I think I might do that too in the future. Tried it before but I wasn’t in the right head space back then.
Stop being edgy.
It’s the basic human tendency to take an unbiased ideology, broadcast an unintended interpretation to generate a following, then build a cult that puts them in power.
The oldest trick in the book. And it sadly works, nearly every time.
