    I mean, does anyone not know about borat? I think this sort of shit has always been a large part of his repertoire. I can’t say for sure if it’s intended to be bigoted or racist. Ali G is targeted at the chavs of Britain and london IIRC. Honestly I don’t think anyone is immune to the portrayals that he does. Whether or not they’re in good taste. Which yeah generally they’re not.

      Borat, bruno, ali g, the great dictator, … All of them were pissing off a big amount of people hehe

      Now the uk ban of this movie is what kinda triggers me tbh

        The Great Dictator was Charlie Chaplin. His was only The Dictator.

              Lol true. But it was memorable enough I instantly knew what you’re talking about. That way it was definitely among the worst Anna Faris vehicles. And she did The House Bunny and Chris Pratt.

            I had to look that one up. Wow, even my student film got higher reviews on rotten tomatoes (because no one else has found it on rotten tomatoes except my crew and we all gave it thumbs up. That counts, right?)

              It literally derailed sbc’s career trajectory. Even if it was tongue in cheek. It portrayed a lot of what is fantasized about now in the chauvinist manosphere bigot space iirc. It was somehow even in poorer taste than his standard fare.
