I feel like people are misunderstanding his character as a joke. Are not laughing at him because he acts like a Jamaican, because if he was still a Jamaican we’d laugh at that too. But we laugh at his delusion in thinking he’s more than just some white chav. If anything, we’re laughing at him taking the piss out of chavs not black people. Be outraged at that if you want to be outraged.
His failure to emulate Jamaican culture is part of the joke! His whole schtick is misunderstanding the world around him. It’s funny that he’s trying his hardest to cosplay a character from a show he’s clearly never seen

I guess “throw the Jew down the well” is kinda funny just for the unhinged nature of the lyrics, but the real substance/funny (by absurdity) part is that he gets regular people to sing and go along with it.
I won’t deny that I laughed my ass off when I saw Borat. I loved how it skewered conservatives.
But still, picking a real country was a mistake. And lying about a documentary on poverty to a poor village is incredibly scummy, no way to sugarcoat it
