This does include content from Reddit but, Reddit is not the only source, all titles are tagged with the originating source so if you do not wish to read anything from Reddit, you can skip anything with a Reddit tag. The sidebar also includes a sorting by tags list (powered by the lemmy.world search, you can search from your own instance as well).

There’s a post guide complete with a copy and paste template if you want to post your own best of updates. We do not accept bot reposts. All top level posts must be made by a human please and thank you. We also don’t scrape things with a bot ourselves, I either copy and paste Reddit BoRU’s by hand or source the material and compile it myself as I expect others to do as well.
