Yeah, why do famous actors always work for big companies, why can’t famous actors only ever work for small independent companies?
Since in this binary world, if something isn’t perfectly 1, it might as well be 0. You shouldn’t have a single fault, or you are faulty. You should be able to walk through the mud without getting dirty.
I think what you’re trying to say here is that if actors worked for small independent companies that they wouldn’t be famous. However you’re not considering the other side of that coin, which is that if they actually did that, they would either make those small companies into big ones, or make the big ones (like Disney) more ethical. But Disney gets to remain the big unethical company because no one cares about anything but money.
There have been multiple different articles posted like this one of various actors throwing in support for Kimmel / admonishing Disney. A good chunk of the replies to those posts are in the exact vein (or closely paraphrased) in my comment above and yours to which I replied. The common theme is nitpicking and whining and nothing ever being good enough.
