I loved Scavengers Reign but I wish it was less concerned with the plot and even more about just exploring the planet.
I would make season 2 be after some time passes and a new ship crashes and you get to see the new crew encounter survivors from the first one that have been transformed by the planet.
If you like CSE then you might also enjoy Scavengers Reign. Such a shame it was cancelled, but the first season is magical.

CSE was cool but I really would have liked a season 2 of Scavengers Reign instead.
