Onlookers fear ‘something very wrong’ with Trump

    This is their threshold?

There has been something obviously “very wrong” with him for years. Decades, even.

He was never all right. Even when he was a kid people said that he had massive ego problems. When he was in high school playing poorly in sports people found the fact that he never admitted to losing or playing poorly to be intensely irritating.

In the 1980s, Trump always made Spy magazine’s “Top 10 Worst People, Places or Things” list. His one “mitigating factor” was always “at least he’s not in politics”.

A useful idiot still needs to be able to do things for you, win over the right people, set the tone of the room, be the distraction. If the useful idiot goes off of the rails, stops being taken seriously at all, you’re left with just an idiot. They’re worried they lost the useful part

The Republicans never really had control of him. I think they fear him dying on them and them not been able to hold MAGA together without his unique brand of genuine crazy.

Maybe next time they pick a puppet president they go with someone who knows the score, and isn’t under the delusion they’re in change.

That is the gamble with useful idiots though, sometimes they can surprise you.

I think the Republican party is getting increasingly concerned that what little control and manipulation they had on him is fading fast.

I also think they need to have someone who thinks they’re in charge so they can project bravado and power to the undereducated base that is MAGA. No “strongman”, no MAGA

Is he aware that the decades of solar radiation on the moon has bleached the flag the Apollo astronauts left?

It’s white. Indistinguishable from a flag of surrender.

Not to mention, the US is a signatory of the Outer Space Treaty, recognizing space as neutral ground and subject to the same legal precedent as maritime law governing international waters.

Fucking lunatic should have been removed already.

I would assume the cloth on the flag has broken down by now. It’s been getting blasted by unfiltered solar radiation for almost 60 years. I’m not sure what it was made of, but I wouldn’t expect thin cotton or polyester lasting in that environment for 60 years.

On the other hand, it is not subject to air or wind which means there’s no mechanical stress apart from its own weight (which is 1/6 of what it would weigh on Earth), and there’s no oxygen to attack the fibers either. I don’t know for sure but I feel like it is currently still there, but will extremely fragile and would disintegrate on the slightest touch.
