People definitely didn’t stop rioting after the 60s. They kept rioting, and the people doing it have been black, queer, hispanic, indigenous, incarcerated, etc. People who are on the absolute margins of society, that have the least to lose and the most to gain.

Kinda hard to make change when you’re the minority, huh. Now imagine if 70% of the population rioted all the way to D.C…
the system works fine for the majority and extremely well for those with enough capital to be comfortable.
Maybe in the 60s, but the dissatisfaction at the wealth gap is astronomical rn.
