The bonuses are doled out over 5 years in $10,000 increments. Student loan forgiveness (who are we kidding… these guys didn’t go to Yale) is similarly spread out. Both are at the discretion of supervisors.

Iirc, it was a taxable 10K per year for 5 years. If they were let go, they had to pay back the full, untaxed amount.
