DRDO has recently unveiled its new future- ready indigenous armoured veichles. Vikram VT21 platform has been designed and developed by DRDO’s Vehicle Research Development Laboratory and manufactured in collaboration with Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) attended the inauguration ceremony.

These systems are highly capable as they have ballistic level protection that too in just 15 tons of weight which is a very big achievement.

This system throws American Stryker totally even out of consideration let alone procurement. These indigenous system are amphibians which means they can operate in both land and water which the Stryker cannot even think about.

designed for deployment in diverse terrain like Ladakh, desert regions and etc. They can carry up to 8 to 10 fully equipped soldiers. Both platforms have been integrated with indigenously designed and developed 30-mm crewless turret, with advanced features to meet mobility, firepower and protection requirement.
