I have some communities (is this the correct term?) running on lemmings.world with an alternative user because my local server is non-English speaking.
However, lemmings.world is closing down and (unless I am doing something wrong) I cannot log into my alternative user. Is there a way to move my communities and user to another server?

I do not believe Lemmy has a migration mechanism in place like Mastodon for example. Unfortunately, you will have to re-create both users and communities on another instance.
