      That’s a very high outlier, while in antiquity 100% wasn’t very rare.

      Yes, we can easily reach those numbers. Much more easily than in antiquity. We have not, at least up to now.

        Oh, certainly. I’m not saying it’s as common as it was in antiquity or anything (that’s why I used the word can, same as you) just that 1-2%, while still horrific in the context of modern, industrial population sizes, doesn’t come close to our all-time greats of genocidal fuckery in the modern era.

    Common denominator … we enjoy killing one another because of our differences … like religion, colour, race, language, hockey team, or the type of bread we like to eat.
