Need an account to use old reddit? It’s such an obvious crackdown on anonymity. God bless that dev of old reddit redirect that was able to bypass. At least it was able to last for another month or so thanks to him. New reddit is disgusting to look at and is definitely strategically hiding specific posts for various reasons. If I have to link an email to an account, I would much rather use something open source like this. Even if the user base is currently slacking.

i’m so confused as to why it takes the majority of ppl so long to migrate off a platform. I’m surprised there are any real people at all left on facebook. youtube’s unskippable ads should have been their end. i under stand twitter’s stranglehold bc they have all the big celebs and ESPN. it’s just perplexing that people put up with that, its free. recent reddit refugee is how i wound up here, just this and and bluesky
I agree but every platform on the whole entire internet has been doing the same! My only safe places left are Lemmy, YouTube, and my email inbox.
