    All perfectly reasonable, mature ways of handling the problem.

    People are going to scoff and say it won’t happen, but if we keep saying that we expect our elected officials to do nothing, that is exactly what they’ll do. Politicians are lazy, and if you give them permission to do nothing, they’ll happily oblige, and get back to their insider trading.

    We are in unprecedented times, and we will require unprecedented solutions. It will be up to us to insist that it happen, or else. Stop letting them off the hook.

      I am no more confident about anything in life than I’m not fit, able, or intelligent enough to be in any kind of senior government elected position, at the same time, competency shouldn’t rely on a single individual, it should be a collective effort of many ideas, backgrounds, and expertise that effectively represents all constituents to the best ability possible. I’d never run for anything in politics but that’s the kind of stuff I try to learn about any candidate that I vote for, or not.
