I have been banging on about this now for at least a couple of years. Much as been written about what is ailing Meta at the moment; yet, strip all that away lies, at its root, a lack of integrity, common decency and humility, and a large dose of cynicism that defines the character of its founder, Mark Zuckerberg. They say a company’s culture starts with the man, or woman, at the top, and so it has come to pass.

From the very beginning, with the original premise of FB being intended to rate women on their sexual desirability, the seeds of its eventual demise were planted. They are now reaping the bitter harvest that he, and he alone, sowed.

Notice how there aren’t any figures or numbers in this “article?”

Yeah that’s because it’s fantasyland time for the “author”

I’d love it for Meta to die, but what evidence is there? They have more money and users than most small nations still

I share the author’s view that Facebook will go the way of Yahoo, CompuServe and a few others. We shall have to wait and see if the author and I are right.

Completely agree - but look at their books and numbers. Sure they’ve had missteps but what evidence is this article leaning on to make those claims?

I can’t draw a line from reality to this article, at least not in the short- to medium-terms.
