Oh, for sure. The evolution of languages is fascinating, even if the end result is frustrating. It does seem ironic, though, that a language that evolved to help the largest number of people be able to communicate results in such easy miscommunication on a personal level.
Pretty sure you’re correct. Seems like it’s just a miscommunication around the word ‘deep’, with one person meaning deeply hidden and the other meaning deeply ingrained.
