If you have a male cat, you’ve got a 50% chance of it happening. And it’s either fork up the money or put it down before it goes into full renal failure and cardiac arrest. Get pet insurance.
If you get your male cat to drink more water, then the chances of a blockage go down. If you give them canned wetfood and pour in a couple extra empty cans of water too, they’ll drink it all up and stay nice and hydrated!
