    My sticking point is if it’s self inflicted or not.

    Tired because you stayed up all night playing video games? Yeah, don’t have much sympathy.

    Up all night studying for whatever exam or you pulled back to back 12 hour shifts for work? Yeah that sucks man.

        Nah if you have the ability to game and sleep as much as you want then more power to you.

        I just don’t like hearing “oh I’m tired” and I ask why and someone says “oh I went to bed at 4am because of a new MMO expansion” like, ok? You’re tired because you were up all night having fun?

        Or especially if you do that and also fall asleep at work or something. Like I’m not picking up your slack because you decided to game all night.

        But if you have a newborn or you’re taking care of an elderly parent or whatever then yeah I’ll help you out if you ask.
