I figured out a long time ago that the best solution is whatever works best for you. Plex works best for me and for my users. If jellyfin works best for you in particular, then I wish you all the best.
It’s the mobile phone thing all over again. I’ve used Android, I’ve used iOS. Hell, I used Windows Mobile before either of two existed. I’m agnostic. I’ve used them both, and enjoy things about both. But not Windows Mobile, that shit was awful. I’ve used Plex for years and it’s given me no reason to look elsewhere. Maybe if it drops a feature I like, maybe.
Jellyfin users are like linux users, vocally superior in their choice. Don’t listen to them, they wear their tech choices like their personality
