Israel attacked a key petrochemical plant at Iran’s massive South Pars natural gas field, according to several news agencies.
Israel’s defence minister Israel Katz confirmed what he called “a powerful strike on the largest petrochemical facility in Iran” that’s responsible for half of the country’s petrochemical production. Israel’s military spokesperson, Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani, said there would be “no immunity” for Iran as talks progress.
Katz’s statement on an Israeli attack on a petrochemical facility follows an earlier report from the Fars news agency that “several explosions” had been heard from the South Pars petrochemical plant in Asaluyeh.
It puts into question the negotiations aimed at getting the US and Tehran to reach a ceasefire. The gas field shared with Qatar is the world’s largest and sits under the waters of the Persian Gulf. The strikes come weeks after international outcry over Israel’s attack on Iran’s South Pars gas field on 18 March.
If this war does nothing else, it confirms that the west was full of shit saying that Iran had nukes.
I’m embarrassed to say it took me far too long to realize this. I should’ve known better than to believe the rhetoric that Western nations constantly harped on.

Israel sure does talk a lot of shit for a country that won’t put its own soldiers in danger. The joke is we not only let them get away with little dog big ego syndrome, it’s that we let our children die to further it. Pathetic.

A big US empire/global domination reason for not escalating is that Iran’s missile launches and strikes increased in last week, with $20B in damages/lost revenue per day caused over the weekend. The narrative that their capability is destroyed is a false one.
A destroyed global economy, and GCC, will not look for, nor would they receive if asked, US compensation for rebuilding. They will all ask other investment/global powers instead.
The only good news, is that the latest stone age campaing is a 4 hour one. Perhaps US declares “stone age mission accomplished” and leaves.
