Serious question. Why was the first thought that came to your mind “Gee I think that person is being serious what a stupid analogy let me tell them”. Like, why does your mind go there?
Imagine how cynical you have to be to think the worst of everything you read online. There’s no tactics. It was a joke. If you don’t think it’s funny that’s cool. But to concoct the narrative in your mind that you have speaks more about your own insecurities than anything else.
Maybe next time you read something online try not to assume the worst when you don’t understand the context or the words. Hint: in the UK saying “innit” isn’t meant to evoke seriousness. Have you ever seen Ali G? Probably not I’m guessing.
Now that I’ve had to explain the joke to you (regardless of whether you find it funny or not) are you able to answer my question? Why does your mind race to assume the worst?
What do you mean “think the worst”? there is literally no other way to interpret it… Making a bad analogy isn’t funny, that’s not a joke it’s just bad logic. You didn’t explain anything because there is no joke.
I know what “innit” means. Yes I’ve seen Ali G. There still is no joke here. Or is “bad analogy” followed by “innit” some new joke format that I’ve missed?
It’s fine to make a bad analogy and just admit to it when someone says its bad and you rethink it. Doubling down and calling it a joke is just absurd.
People assume I have listened to Nirvana because I wear their t-shirts. Mad, innit?
Is being brown the same as wearing a band t shirt? What a stupid analogy

Because “it was just a joke” is a classic tactic.
I’m wondering what the point of posting it would be in your mind? How could it even be considered a joke?
What am I supposed to do with a comment that is nothing but an analogy, other than to try to figure out what it means?

There’s literally another way that I’ve explained to you. 😅
Oh good so you can then at least understand the tone or contextual background for what I wrote in the first place wasn’t meant to even be serious.
Not really sure why you’re arguing about this. Sounds like you just want to pick a fight where there is none. Quite sad.
