Vegas Knights still signed him last year despite loads of evidence that he poses a danger to women. Social media haven’t stopped kicking off about it, and are rejoicing cos Hart is playing like shit. So even though the system failed to protect women AGAIN finally there’s some form of justice

Thank you for the post. I had not bothered to follow the Stanley Cup progress this year so i was relieved to look it up just now and see that Vegas lost in 6 games.
It is unconscionable that these things continue to happen across the male sporting landscape and that the bar remains so high to get any sort of justice.
NPR was doing a story on the football player Renaldo and brought up an incident in 2009 in vegas. Which sadly remains unadjuticated.

The whole sporting industry is rife with sexual abuse and has a long history of that. Normally success stories are of coaches being banned and possibly prosecuted for sexually abusing juvenile. It looks like there’s dramatically less accountability for players hurting women. In EMs case the cover up was horrendous.
And yep i was thrilled Vegas lost. Hart cried at the end which was glorious…the whole thing has been a PR disaster for knights and the NHL so I’m hoping itll bring change
