Yeah, there’s some tired tropes and some of the plots are formulaic (now, anyway), but the humor and wit is absolutely on point.

Any other older shows that hold up this well today?

      Some shows’ appeal changes as your life experience changes. I never got Seinfeld as a kid but spent a year in New York City and understood it then. I never really watched Cougartown but then watched it as a newlywed and thought it’s actually better than Scrubs.

        My partner and I are currently in our third or fourth rewatch of Cougar Town. It definitely has a better cast then Scrubs and the writing is great once they figure out what the shows about (Drinking Wine & Hanging out), but Scrubs does the drama better. We love the show but the first few episodes are a bit rough so anyone thinking of giving it a go I recommend jumping in five or six episodes in and then once you’ve hooked go back to the beginning
