On that tangent, I hate how clothing is labelled “men’s” “women’s”, “children’s”.
Why not sort them by size instead? Would be far more consistent. And let there be more variety! Men want colourful clothing too, women want some actual pockets, enbies want some good mix!
And, not just size, it could be handy to sort by fabric as well. Imagine a store where you don’t need to constantly check for sizes or fabrics, you just go to that section and look for what you like. So much easier.
It wouldn’t help. There are shoe companies that make unisex shoes, and its no help. The colorful “fem” shoes are only made in the small sizes, and large ones are only made in muted “masc” colors. And the portion of their lineup that is unisex are only those designs that are neutral enough to appeal to both men and women. The cute heels are never in the unisex sizes so too small for me.
The problem is mass manufacturing and economies of scale. Unsold inventory is a loss, and mass production is only cost effective at scale. Mass production can only be effective when it serves large groups and ignores those within niches.
I think it would help, though, as the lack of “man/woman/kid” labelling would make people buy more different clothes, thus the market for bigger, unique shoes etc also growing.
I don’t see why a man wouldn’t like to wear colourful shoes like us.
Shoes. I’m too transgender. Feet too big.

I feel this. I’ve basically resigned myself to shoes in brown and black. Alt fashion really helps in these circumstances.
That being said, have you looked into Adelante? They do custom-made heels up to size 15 and are very colorful.
Size 15? What measure is that? Portuguese, US, EU, UK, FR…?
You could try Zalando, they have many sizes and shoes.
U.S., but runs about a half size to a size small, according to reviews.
