I’ve been struggling for a while now, I tried all kinds of online calculators but when trying them on they were all just wrong, gappy in the cups in the wrong areas, weird bulges etc. I had a few that were good enough but clearly not ideal. Then I thought enough is enough and went to get fitted. She had a look and then went to get a bra that was so far out of the size range I thought (not even sister sized) and oh my god does it fit properly, like all of them are now contained, the front sits perfectly flat against my ribs, the band doesn’t bridge the gap at the back, the straps fit nicely.

It almost fits too well because 99% of the time I can’t even notice it but when it gets really warm and things start to get sweaty it can feel like its suffocating because none of it moves, there’s nowhere that it can be shifted around to get any relief beyond pulling the elastic bits away from the body for a minute. But hey ho, at least its soft and comfy and not scratchy (and no underwire!).

I feel the same way. Icebreaker bras changed my boob life.

I’m no shill, I was converted when someone else said the same thing to me. They come in a variety of styles and they’re made of merino wool, which is naturally anti-bacterial. I could legit wear one for a week (but I don’t because gross) without it ever smelling. I use inserts for intense cold, because of the nippleitis.
