Can someone explain to me why moonlanding deniers are currently claiming Buzz Aldrin now also denies the moonlanding? This is something I’ve had a real life idiot person say to me.
Buzz was answering a question from a young girl about why we haven’t gone back to the moon in so long. During his answer he said the words “because we didn’t go there” as part of a longer answer about why we hadn’t gone back. Moon landing deniers clip that and act like it is an admission that the moon landings didn’t happen.
I am also curious to know, as I’ve also run into this recently.
My knowledge of Buzz Aldrin involves him punching a moon landing denier in the face for saying he faked the whole thing, so I feel like this must be some sort of new denier disinfo campaign.
