I cannot belive your asking this again. At this point it feels like you’ve spent your degree dodging the most basic concepts on purpose. You’ve sat rough years of classes, tutorials, exams and somehow this is still the thing you’re stuck on. It’s honestly interesting to even read the question because it shows exactly how little of the fundamentals you’ve actually kept up with. You can’t expect to get anywhere in this field if you’re still circling back to the absolute starting point every time something comes up. It’s like you skipped every single moment where the basics were explained and then pretend you never did.

And before you act surprised about the results you get, this is exactly why you struggle. This is why half the material feels impossible to you. You never actually remembered the simplest layers before trying to jump into something else. If you keep avoiding the foundations, everything higher up is going to collapse the second you touch it. You can’t keep pulling that “wait, what’s that again” routine and expect the rest of the coursework to magically make sense. It doesn’t work that way, and it never has.

What makes it even more frustrating is that this isn’t obscure or hidden away in some dusty appendix you missed by accident. This is the first thing you were supposed to understand. The fact that you’re still asking it now is exactly the kind of… …look at your work and instantly realize what’s been…

I’m on a flight and was bored :/
