    They’re still people. When you fight someone acting like a terrible person, you fight for them. You make sure they know that their behavior is unacceptable, and that their way of thinking isn’t doing them any favors. You do this not just because you’re right, but because they need to hear it in order to have any chance of changing themselves for the better. Incels deserve to be fought because they deserve to be rehabilitated. Reinforcing behavior is how you solidify it, not change it; you have to challenge someone to see things differently for them to learn that there’s another way.
