As hardcore goes, they have a decent flow, dude hits his mark on his screams and doesn’t waver, drums, bass and guitarwork are good. 8/10 band in a 5/10 location. The legendary part is the meme-ness of playing that in a Denny’s, and knowing and allowing the crowd to mosh there. As a scene, it’s funny at first glance.
Their band has Botch and Deadguy energy, early Every Time I Die, with some Chariot and Norma Jean tossed in for good measure. Not quite grindcore, not clean or melodic enough to be metalcore. I’d say call them hardcore metal and leave it at that.
