Sen. Darline Graham announces she’s running for a full term in her late brother Lindsey Graham’s Senate seat.

Sen. Darline Graham said Monday she’s running for a full term to replace her late brother Lindsey Graham’s Senate seat.

“I’ve made a decision,” Darline Graham told Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity, according to a clip released of an interview set to air later Monday. “I’m in.”

The entrance of Darline Graham — sworn in last week to fulfill the remaining months of her late brother’s term, which expires in January — into the Republican scramble to select a new Senate nominee further complicates an already rushed process following Lindsey Graham ‘s death earlier this month.

A weeklong filing period opens Tuesday for the special Republican primary, which will be Aug. 11. On Friday, President Donald Trump said that Darline Graham had his “Complete and Total Endorsement” to seek the nomination, adding, “RUN, DARLINE, RUN!”

Remember the rage when Kamala picked up Biden’s campaign? At the time I didn’t think it was the best but I also understand how political parties work.

    Guess we don’t care now.

Why is nepotism how the replacement gets decided? That’s an elected position, wtf is wrong with people if they can’t see that as a bad idea that should not be in use.

Why are people so allergic to voting for fucks sake

Oh, if only the sister were just a temporary appointment until January and the special election were to redo the Republican primary and re-select the Republican nominee who will run against the Democrat in the regular November midterms, like Lindsey Graham was supposed to do except he died and the Republicans are not quite to the Jeremy Bentham stage of leadership (yet).

Oh, if only. But no. They’re just so allergic to voting for fucks sake. Not gonna have a special election for the Republican primary, nor an election in November at all. Sent the Democrat primary winner home, consolation prize canned ham and all.

Looks like South Carolina’s got another six-plus years of Lindsey Graham, this time in skirts and lipstick just as God intended.

It is hard for me to reconcile her life helping the disabled with an endorsement from trump.

How do you spend your life doing good, just to crawl into bed with such evil.

You’ll find a lot of narcissists in volunteer work and non profit. They enjoy unfettered access to vulnerable people they can torment. You’ll find them anywhere there’s a power imbalance in their favor.

Republicans are a cult that is embarrassed by their evil. Plenty of them do things that appear to be good, but have a net result of exacervating a social ill.

I’d bet real money the whole “helping the disabled” thing, is just a grift. You know, like everything else Conservatives do.

Not cousins, but Kate and Rooney Mara are the product of a dynastic marriage between the New York Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Because of the SAVE act and related actions, she will win with about 95% of the vote. Call it what it is: an inherited seat.
