The EU found plenty. Slovakia and Hungary pointedly refused to. Now, the party and the guy who were in charge of Hungary have been thrown out on their ass. Wanna discuss that at all, or does that not align with the narrative that you’re trying to pitch?

The EU found an alternative with the US that sells at a multiplefold price and deindustrializes and vassalizes Europe even more, instead of pivoting toward renewables. (Not saying Fico or Orban would’ve preferred renewables, but they were right to refuse the US “alternative”)

Also lol at libs cheering on that Orban got replaced by Orban-light

        • I’m not encouraging the EU or any country in it to vassalize itself to the US. Depending on the US is better than Russia in the interim time that it will take to build infrastructure and industry to be able to depend less - or not at all - on the US. If you’re arguing that Russia is an overall less exploitative and threatening partner than Russia in the past and short term future: you’re deluding yourself.
        • The two choices in the recent Hungarian elections were Orban or Magyar. That’s it. You are making light of incremental, but real, improvements. Magyar is not the desired endpoint for Hungary. He is a necessary waypoint on the way to Hungary reclaiming its societal and geopolitical sanity.

Depending on the US is better than Russia

It is the US that has been damaging and threatening Europe. Russia provided the cheap energy upon which European prosperity was built and asked nothing in return. Europe in its racist, warmongering derangement chose to destroy itself and lick the US boot even harder.

He is a necessary waypoint on the way to Hungary reclaiming its societal and geopolitical sanity.

A necessary waypoint on the way to Hungary completely losing its sovereignty and becoming brainwashed and subjugated. At least you admit it that Magyar is a Trojan horse meant to open the door to full Brussels-NGO institutional, societal and media takeover.

More evidence that the tyrannical EU and its religious fanatic followers cannot be satisfied with anything else than complete totalitarian domination, no dissent allowed. Anyone showing any independence or rationality is declared a public enemy and must be crushed.

If you’re arguing that US is an overall less exploitative and threatening partner than Russia: you’re a naive lib that hasnt been following the news properly.

The two choices in the recent Hungarian elections were Orban or Magyar. That’s it. You are making light of incremental, but real, improvements. Magyar is not the desired endpoint for Hungary. He is a necessary waypoint on the way to Hungary reclaiming its societal and geopolitical sanity.

Lol cute. Only difference is that the new reactionary (at least for now) signals to be more pro-west and pro-NATO (read: pro-imperialism) Your unironic “muh freedom” is naive and disgusting, but funny at the same time

I’d like a list of those “plenty of alternatives”. Don’t forget the hormuz blockade, those aren’t viable anymore.
