Anon must live under a rockpill if he thinks Gabe is the only billionaire interested in the deep sea. There’s Cameron and that fuckwad who crushed his kid with a tin can submarine.

Can we stop saying using redpill phrasing like pilled or mogged or based or whatever else the moronosphere is saying. It’s not a clever meme it’s just being stupid and validating an awful world view in the process.

Not a tech billionaire but otherwise James Cameron also matches that description. Actually Cameron is way more hardcore into “space is scary”, and I “love deep sea” directions.

The deep sea is way more important for us to understand than space. Well in some regards.

It would be more immediately beneficial.

Actually ☝️🤓, that is a common urban myth. We have mapped virtually everything down there, we were not everywhere with submarines and cameras but as far as i know virtually all of the deep sea has been mapped from the surface and the general consensus is that there is nothing spectacular or extraordinary down there.

Maybe an unusual or unknown species here and there, but nothing like some unknown frontier for mankind with potentially revolutionary discoveries.
