Canvas Stats has been updated for 2026!

The site was rewritten to be more efficient and now has a ton more features such as:

  • better search
  • Advanced search (see who placed pixels at a coordinate or within an area of the canvsa)
  • View stats for instances
  • More user stats including graphs for users

The biggest feature is Achievements. If you go to your profile on the site and click the “Claim the profile” button, it will unlock any achievements you have earned the 4 years that Canvas has taken place. More achievements will be added as they are suggested. It is guaranteed that everyone will get at least 1.

If you have any ideas for new features for the site, let me know. Currently working on

  • more advanced search options
  • more options for selecting what to render on the canvas
  • list of all achievements and how many users have unlocked each achievement

As a bit of a statistics nerd, this is my favorite thing after the event itself. Thanks for once again compiling the data into an easy to browse format.

Looking at the pixel counts and the pixels placed per hour charts for the top 10 users, it seems most of them had very little sleep over the 48 hours… Gotta admire the dedication.

Achievements are a cool addition, although it hurts my completionist soul that they’re set up in a way where you can never get all of them… As for suggestions, maybe add a page listing all the possible achievements? And taking it one step further, how about global stats showing what percentage of users have each achievement?

Judging by the matrix chat for the same users, I’m pretty sure they did get very little sleep 😆

Not sure which you mean, but it’s a bit sad I don’t get the “place in the top 100” or top 50 achievements for years I’m in the top 25. I feel like I shoud get them all.

      Not that I can see

Edit: there’s a mac on programming.dev who played in '23 and '24, is that what you’re talking about?

This was my first Canvas event, I didn’t even know there’d be achievements. Finding that I got an achievement for “Nice Coordinate” (Placed a pixel on a coordinate containing 69) gave me a chuckle.

I’m also happy I made it in the top 100 contributors, which I’m only mentioning here because I have nowhere and no one else to brag about it to. I may be a loner who spends their weekends on their computer, but working on a cool collaborative project like this was a wonderful change of pace.
