He wasn’t even rooting for Spain, he bad mouthed them a few days before, and Argentina has always been the favorite country for fugitive war criminals, and he already bought his way in with a $40 billion dollar bailout as American families were having their food assistance cut. Clearly Argentina was his team.
But Spain won, and it’s their glory he had to bask in, so he stood there as the crowd cheered for them, and pretended that it was for him.
