Sometimes, I see Trump suppprters talk about how liberals are also corrupt and genocidal. They talk about how liberals are hypocrites because they’ll support people like Kamala Harris and Barack Obama—both of whom supported violence—yet criticise Donald Trump for it.
They fail to realise that the system is designed to treat politics like a team sport—and that this system must vanish. No one is free from these chains until we’re all free.
Especially on Facebook, I’ll see them criticise liberals for being performative in this way. The thing is, in this one regard, they are right. But they refuse to rise against this system, which, in turn, makes them equally as performative.
Edit: I’m Canadian, but since American politics heavily affect us, it’s relevant to point it out.

why are you on facebook?
I’m about to delete it, but everyone has it where I come from. Forgive me, as I’m on an island where over 25% of people are above the age of 65. Facebook for us is like Whatsapp is for Europeans.
A lot of people in my region barely understand how to use the internet at all. Over 46% of the working age population is above 55 years old and I wish I was making this up.
I still have an account for Facebook marketplace because I’m my rural area it’s the only way to do second hand and I try to get second hand when I can because landfills.
