    You would think there are enough good universities in China in 2026 that students don’t need to learn how to survive in a fascist country to get a good education.

      other countries you get in by merit but you can buy your way in the us. the minimums are generally not hard to meet.

        Well, I guess I meant in another kind of fascist country. I suppose Chinese citizens already know how to navigate their own repressive society.

        Also, they could get a very good education in Europe where fascism hasn’t yet made a comeback.

          Spaces for universities in China are incredibly competitive. It’s mostly the richer families of students that can afford to send their kids to western universities.
