    Maybe someone could explain it to me.

    I understand why it works with houses and other domiciles, however with pokemon cards, tickets and anything else of that nature.

    Why do you (you as in an ethereal concept of a person which does this) buy them, you don’t need Pokemon cards, you don’t need to see this band life, You don’t need a new console?

    Sure all of it is nice to have, but unlike a roof above the head its very low on the “things you need” scale.

      For those of us who are lower income, yeah, if the prices go up we simply don’t buy them.

      Just like poor people don’t own homes.

      But rich people still buy them (homes and pokémon cards) and so poor people are permanently priced out of the market, which is bad.
