Wow, 4 servings in a bottle of vodka is insane. I would do this but absolutely with whiskey or rum or even an añejo tequila not vodka or gin. And half as much of it. And then call it 8 servings!
4 servings? No. But it will definitely serve (and then borderline over serve) 4 people no problem! That’s, what, like 4 or 5 shots each or something depending on your pours?
The nice thing about it is it’s sort of self limiting: it takes a long time to reduce a pot of coffee, so probably nobody is getting their stomach pumped 😬.

With vodka it’s very nearly a Moscow mule and would probably be great. IDK about the nutmeg, though.
