If you think about it, the opposite is actually true.
Think about what you’re actually saying if you state that Anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism. You’re saying that being a Jew is intrinsically inseparable from being an Israeli. You could be a Jew born in the US or UK, have lived there all your life, have no connection to Israel at all, and completely oppose the actions of the Israeli government. You could be the most patriotic American or British citizen. It doesn’t matter. You are forever stained from birth with an innate and permanent loyalty to a foreign state. Every Jewish person is a perpetual foreigner in every land but Israel.
This is just the modern version of the same dual loyalty bigotry that has been used to persecute Jewish people for generations. Only an anti-Semite confounds anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism.
