Made shredded pork with garlic sauce (top left), salt and pepper tofu (top right) and some random cabbage recipe (bottom).
All three were good but I would say the shredded pork was my favorite of the 3, then the cabbage and the tofu last.
I think I would definitely make the shredded pork and cabbage again however the tofu wqs a lot of work and it wasn’t worth the effort for me. I think for the effort I’d rather have salt and pepper fish.
I don’t remember exactly which recipes I used but I will post some that look right?

Yeah I have nothing against tofu. I will say that the tofu was probably not as good because I made it in an air fryer and even though you can make things crispy in an air fryer, nothing beats real deep fry. Although part of the issue was the tofu flavor. I think the dish really makes the tofu the star and although I don’t hate the flavor of tofu, it isn’t that interesting of a flavor to me.
I make mapo tofu a lot and do enjoy it. I generally enjoy tofu more in stews and soups where it can get more of it’s flavor from the broth. Eg. mapo tofu, soon dobu, kimchi stew, hot and sour soup and miso soup.
