Being rude to someone who was ignorant but trying to help. As I’ve said in another comment, I’m ready to be done with this pointless arguing. Just making the final point that it’s possible to politely tell someone they messed up and are doing something wrong. I’m sure that’s what you would do in real life because it’s what most people do; it doesn’t have to be different just because you are in the internet.
