1·23 hours agoI know in the UK margins tend to be high on things like glasses and lenses but they lose money on even standard eye tests (it’s worse if they pick something wrong and need to do further investigation)

19·24 hours agoI was thinking the same, I’d like more context though, if it’s a quick throttle blip (or like if they’re driving stick and need to reverse the car up a slope) could be understandable. If they’re bouncing it off the rev limiter for a minute that’s a different kettle of fish. Given the rest of the post I’m erring on the side of it being blown out of proportion.

8·4 days agoDoes anyone know the name for the sensation where you stretch and suddenly your innards feel all wrong, almost like being on the verge of a cramp but not and you suspect that if you don’t return relatively quickly but gently to an unstretched position that something may go badly wrong inside?
It’s probably the ideal country for it too, you were able to rent Liechtenstein for $70k/night.
