This is so true.
Choosing my introverted life partner was the best choice I ever made. Or the best choice they ever made for me…or somewhere in between. But great choice, all around.

Human readable test code.

I mean, it’s a portable device. Put enough power into it, and it’s just going to light my lap on fire.
The more powerful device (with enough cooling, and a wall connection) is the Steam Machine, and it’s currently a lottery to get a chance to buy one. I am fully down to play more aggressive games, if I get a chance to buy the Steam Machine.
But I’m not excited for another Sega GameGear - another portable so powerful that it cannot be practically played away from a wall outlet.
I do want another SteamDeck, but I want it smaller, lighter, lower power, longer battery, and pocketable. I want a SteamDeck mini.

This sounds a lot like gripes that older generations have always had about younger generations.
But this younger generation is the youngest one yet!

It is lucky noone is exploiting that simplicity.
Yes. If anyone unethical figured that out, who kmows what could happen!?

Some very rich people who depend on others’ continued oil dependency to remain very rich own many media companies.
Now we’re getting somewhere. This explains exactly how much I hoped and dreamed it would.

But is i anything like Earth? That’s what I want to know.

When I have had something previously working to not working with no known changes, it has usually been failing hardware, for me.
Keep an eye on your heat - both in the PC itself, and in the charging cord (if a laptop).

P.S. I second the motion that the charred cat carcass should become a recurring character.

it massively helped VW lower emissions
Now I’m not sure if referencing actual value or tongue-in-cheek referring to the VW infamous scam, haha.

They ran the clock out on anyone noticing that they bought their only real competitors.
Marvel and Fox next, I expect.

The military industrial complex appears to be scared that this sort of event will become common.
I hope their fears are correct.
Want common people to not smash your shit?
Make shit that common people can feel okay about.
I mean, I played Pokemon with my kids. So maybe both?
Now we play Cassette Beasts - and soon Palworld - together.
My boycott pretty naturally applied to my kids.
We were day one buyers for multiple copies of the last Zelda game, and the last couple Pokemon before Nintendo legal went foul.
Now no one in my family has a Switch 2, and my kids are begging me to help them spend their allowance on Palworld.
I bought a shit ton of games from Nintendo until their legal department went rabid.
Untouchable companies do fall, when they manage to alienate diehard fans, such as myself.
Yes. I was a huge purchaser of both Steam games and Nintendo exclusives on Switch (as long as they got great reviews).
Then Nintendo’s legal team went crazy, attacking emulator developers and suing competing game studios over bullshit “patents” on game mechanics.
So it’s time to starve that beast. No more Nintendo games, for me.
Btw, Zelda on PC when?
Any time you want, if you float in the right seas…uh…circles. Or so I’ve heard.
Yes. Nintendo’s lawsuit was what made me decide to buy Palworld. Fuck Nintendo’s lawyers.
Yes! It took me far to long to internalize this.
Ultimatums are never productive, and anyone issuing them is either desperate or an asshole. (Sometimes both.)
