Still, I stand by abolishing it or excluding politicians from receiving it. Your idea of holding them accountable is silly as clearly that rarely ever happens when the country is as powerful as the US. Only minor nations like the Philippines see their leaders subjected to any sort of accountability.
Honestly, the prize should be abolished. It wasn’t an original Nobel and was only added in after the fact. Both Barrack Obama and Henry Kissinger have one. So even if you start or exacerbate a war you can get one?
If they want to keep the prize around, they should ban politicians from receiving it.
We should call the award the “Nobel Peace Prize”.🏆

If it was expanded to the EU, I assume it’d be the Ukraine war. Europe seems to be leaning towards a war with Russia or keeps hinting it might happen.
The whole point of anonymity is that people can say whatever they want publicly without it affecting their real life.
So you can be against whatever war or business practices without the government or your boss bothering you. Now they want to stifle dissent by putting your face to every opinion you have online. They want to card you for being against the war.

Interesting that a Ukrainian source is claiming cannibalism on the Russian side after an article showing Ukrainian soldiers starved at their posts for months because the Ukrainian army is so short-staffed that they can’t reliably rotate their soldiers.

Are things going to keep getting worse? Probably.
Do you need to vote if that’s the case? Not really, but it’s an external locus of control. You feel you have power because you got to choose who made things worse.
I voted for Biden and things did indeed get worse. Now we see that Trump was voted in and they are getting worse. Soon we will vote in a new Congress and then a new President and things will continue to get worse.
Thankfully I stopped voting after Biden, so my bad luck 🍀 has peaked.
